Same with me. 2 days from AFPOS to NYC. I actually had to ask them to delay shipping as minutes after placing order I found out I needed to travel for a couple of days and didn't want to miss delivery. Not the best picture but it's the Hanover in Rustic tannish/brown (not as dark as photo in real life) grain calf. Boots are awesome by the way. It's my first boot with a commando sole and arrived just in time for the recent 26.9 inches here in NYC. Great traction and the grain is bullet proof so far. Just quick wipe down and a brush and boots still look brand new.

I had my Hanovers out in the 30+ inches in Maryland. Pebble grain walnut and commando soles did great.

Big shout-out to @AFPOS for delivering these bad boys in 2 days. Looking forward to wearing both in the near future icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Wholecuts are the AS Hurst and the Jodphurs are the AS Alex but made for AFPOS.

How did you get that jodhpur?

Ordered from the Clearance/Seconds offerings, but there was nothing wrong them. Think they had a few sizes available and some had minor flaws, others were in perfect condition. I lucked out that the 8.5 didn't have any flaws (at least as far as I can tell)

So, it would appear after wearing these for about 10 min, they're just a tad bit too big at 11.5 UK.  I've only worn them on carpet - but shipping them back from HK is quite expensive, and it may be less than half a size too big.  Very odd - I'm an 11.5 UK in Carmina, Cheaney, C&J, Allen Edmonds, and others.

Any suggestions for this.  Such beautiful shoes, and I'd hate to send them back for an 11 and find those are too small... for another $60 for exchanges!

Thanks in advance!

Most of the pics in this thread (at least lately) are of the dressier side of AS's offerings so here's a couple of pics to balance it out.

I went out for coffee with my AS for Shipton & Heneage Kelsos. 2 hours in the snow and my feet stayed warm and dry.

@scrwl, nice boots! They look like the Pennine from S&H, made by Cheaney if I'm not mistaken. Veldt construction?

Thanks! These and Pennines both are veldt constructed. These feel a bit more rugged than the Pennines (I have a pair of those too) and the Kelsos have that classic veldtschoen side pattern.

Ah! Those are the original ones by AS. Very nice... I still regret not getting a pair back then. I don't think AS does veldt anymore unfortunately.
