Technically Arnold did have a wide waist (for a bodybuilder) at about 35' in shape.  This was offset by his gigantic chest, back, shoulders and know how with regard to posing to his strengths. Many of Arnold's poses were off center or while twisting the body to hid this "flaw". All and all, minor since no one (even champion BB's) are perfect. Before you call me crazy, Arnold wide waist is relative and being looked at in a bodybuilder vacuum, I get that.

I hear what you are saying but Craig is not that large, and his waist aint 30 inches. Looks like your average serious gym goer with above average genetics. About a 42 inch chest likely a 32-33 inch waist.  

 

Comparing him to Arnold is insane. Arnold hade a 58 inch chest and 20 inch arms (in shape).  His overarm was well over 60 inches. 

I like the suits and shirts for this film and hes even back to wearing his thurston braces with his tux .

Skyfall suits are now on sale; has anybody checked them out in store? They're O'Connor models (3 roll 2).

I like the color and the style of the last one. too small on him though.

They deliberately made his suits in the film slim fitting and if I'm not mistaken all the suits in the film were made by Tom Ford.

Could be the way he's standing, but the lapels are bowing. Too small in the chest?

 

I don't think TF fans are. At least not me, I strongly dislike them.

It's like they removed all the distinguishing features of TF suits...ridiculous. However, I haven't seen fit-pics of his new designs, which may tell us more.

I'm pretty sure the costume designer had a hand in this. Ive said this in another thread but regardless of what you see in bond, or on the TF website if you walk into a TF store (the madison ave one at lease) 90% of what you find on the first floor which is dedicated to suiting and formal wear is still the same wide lapeled 5 cuff button, ticket pocketed suits/tuxes that we have all become used too. Come to think about it last time i was in bergdorfs a few weeks back majority of the stuff in their TF section is still the same old stuff as well.
