Just something to consider...

Probably just bad fits.

Obviously you have not seen enough pictures of those MTM outfits.  Craig's suits looks more like a deliberate bespoke effort of tight fits aka certain members on this forum.

Clearly, this was a bit of an exaggeration--as much as I dislike the suits in Skyfall, I wouldn't wish some of those MTM disasters on anyone.

I would be horrified if I was TF.

Like his style or not, the man knows menswear and his personal fits tend to be very good. His original base range is awesome and he offers top quality (albeit overpriced, but at least it's unique and very well made).

Has TF jumped the shark? How can you let fits that terrible occur knowing this film will be viewed by tens of millions of folks around the globe? Think of the time spent designing the suits, the resources that went into their creation.

I am just shocked because TF always struck me as a real perfectionist.

What did folks think of the tab collar? Will it make a come back as a result of this movie?

FYI my girlfriend thought DC looked very hot in his ultra tight suit.
ask your your wife/GF her opinion.
I think TF had input on the fit. mostly likely his tailors were at the initial fittings.
The costume designer may have been looking for a very fitted suit.
it is possible that DC put on 10 pounds of muscle between fittings and shooting the film.
at that point they did not want to remake 100 or so suits that would have been made for DC and the stunt doubles.

I will keep you updated on requests for tab collars.

All this Tom Ford-   baldy[1].gif         2012 Bond should be wearing Paul Smith.

if not Brioni.

That seems to be the consensus amongst the ladies, but its probably a correlation event instead of a causation.  DC is hot not because of his ultra tight suit but because he is hot.  And for a man almost in his 50s, he's in a very good shape (post bulking).

er....... 99% likelihood it is a deliberate move by costume designer.
because to 99% of the viewing public, tight-fitting clothing draws attention and lends the notion of "custom" and "tailored"

like when long narrow point collars came back due to inception? (the other "suit" movie)

my opinion... women find him hot because of the image. bond = sexy , suave. blockbuster movie star = powerful. its mostly mental. bet they didnt think the same of him in his previous roles... DC isnt exactly a classically handsome man for hollywood standards

Tom ford has lost a customer.

(yes, i recently sold my T.F.) Heloooooooo Isaia! drool.gif

Pierce Brosnan was the best dressed Bond. D.C is a casting mistake. should have been Clive Owen, or Vinnie Jones.Shit, even Noel Fielding!

Somehow Vinnie Jones in a Paul Smith suit doesn't quite cut it.
