This thread is drifting...tighten up people.

My wardrobe has reached 'saturation" in that I have all the things I set out to have a few years ago. I have a daily "uniform" that I"m happy to wear, that I feel comfortable and confident in. By far, the best investment I've made this year were my Alden Ultimate Jumpers. I picked them up in Shell #8 and Black Shell and wear them just about every day (sundays are my lazy days and I tend to wear chucks). Epaulet Rivet Chinos are by far the best fitting chinos I've ever worn, and I regret "wasting time" with dockers and the like. I love the way my oxford cloth shirts have broken in, but honestly, I see myself going away from plain jane OCBD (well, always good to have a couple in the closet) and into more MTM custom territory, like the two liberty blouses (lol) I just had made.

Finally, my favorite piece of clothing I've bought? Wolf Vs. Goat sweat knickers in salt n peppa. I wear them to the gym, I wear them around the apartment, they're just amazing. They just feel.. right.

I could write another 10-12 entries, probably - I have a lot of stuff that I am really happy with, but it pretty much all falls into one of three categories: Short jacket/blazer, jeans, or boots. Although I have a pair of CP vanalikes that have really impressed me, so I guess that could count as a fourth category. And maybe a sweater or two. Anyway, it seems rather boring to throw my entire wardrobe in here, but I guess I could add some more pieces over the next few weeks as the weather shifts and I pull out all my old favorites - although if we're only sharing the absolute best of the best, I think I've just about covered everything already. A bit sad, considering the size of the rest of my wardrobe. Lots of filler in there (vis. Every "work shirt" I own).

^ I've had to logic myself out of that several times.  My brain goes "no, you won't ever truly enjoy wearing this [$100 shirt / $200 pants / dressy shoes] but it looks sorta nice and you can wear it to work." bleh.  Thankfully the dress code where I work is 'casual.'

It's possible to enjoy work clothes, even if they're standard work clothes. Since a majority of my time is spent in them, it makes sense to give them the same attention/value as "fun" stuff.

Oh sorry I didn't mean for everyone, just that I don't really enjoy wearing bizcaz stuff.

Not sure where you work KJ but by the way you describe what you wear to work, it just comes off as sloppy.

Get with the program, IMO. Uniqlo is your friend.

And about Levi's, I think I may dive back into denim with some 501's and a trip to the tailor. Inspired by yours truly, Mr. Ervell
