Yea any time I wear a nice button down, chinos, or god forbid a sport coat I start to get looks. I'm definitely happy it's more casual than dressy though, if for no other reason then people are more easily impressed when you show looking dapper after they're used to seeing you in t-shirts and jeans most of the time. I work for a Chevrolet dealership managing the Marketing, Internet Sales, and Customer Satisfaction departments. It gets fairly hot here in the summer (105 isn't uncommon), so polos are acceptable. Outside of the that, we need to wear a tie. It's a very casual dealership, but I could wear a suit if I wanted...although I'd get all sorts of shit from the guys for doing it.
