Wondering if anyone on here with similar measurements can share their experience with the moto jacket. I am 5'9" and 155-160 lbs. Athletic build. Chest measures approx 37, 38-38.5 expanded. I see the note on the jacket fitting snug. I plan to wear it over tshirts and henley's, perhaps the occasional long sleeve button up or flannel. Don't need it to fit over a thick sweater.

I am not a big guy and I feel that makes my "margin for error" in sizing a bit less. I don't want to be gasping fir air in a small or, swimming in a medium. I guess I am your typical smedium guy.

Anyhow, any inout from someone that's ordered a S or a M would be greatly appreciated. And I do realize they take exchanges but am hoping to get this right first time around.

I'd go for an S. We have similar measurements (I'm a touch shorter than you), and the S fits me well.

What are the care instructions for the Task Jacket?  The interior lining is sorta falling apart, so I don't want to unnecessarily damage it any further.

Just when I thought my latest TS experience couldn't get much worse, this blurry and distorted return label was generated. Fortunately I was able to screenshot and use a photo editor to stretch the image, but man this has been such a pain. Hope these growing pains get resolved ASAP.

Cut them a break man.  It's been explained on previous pages the reasons for the shipping/logistics issues and you and others received a sincere apology from the head of their department handling those matters.  It can be frustrating if you don't have prior experience with the company but you know you will be refunded eventually and they will most likely put you first in line for the restock on the item in question due to the troubles you are experiencing.

It's killing me to see all the negative bashing on this thread.  I don't speak for TS in any capacity but I've been a longtime customer and these new hiccups are an aberration, not the norm.  They have years of history delivering in a timely manner with excellent customer service and a nice team.  We've been given a formal explanation from the company on why some problems have been happening and they've promised to get it straightened out as fast as they can.

@gotribe they will. They 100% will.

But unfortunately Rome wasn't built in a day. Lots of systems are malfunctioning so fixing everything is a lot of de-bugging, starting over, and trying to hopefully have you all bear with us.

I had some issues with order fulfillment when I had to be like the first 10 people to order an item and I didn't get it.

It was frustrating but TS made it right as soon as the issue was brought to their attention.

I know these growing pains can be irritating for all involved but I like the company so I'm not going anywhere.

Now if my SS re-release does not get here.........  ahh j/k.

I didn't intend for my comment to come across as bashing. I've ordered from TS at least a dozen times in the past two years with mostly great customer service experiences. I agree that TS deserves our patience and it won't stop me from being a customer because I know they do care and have desire to deliver to notch service. But I do think it's fair to be critical when the experience is poor, even if it isn't intentional. Really don't mean to bash though, I am a big fan of TS and hope the issues are resolved soon.

@gotribe grievances should be aired! It's all good, just know we'll make good & we're working to make things right.

Negative bashing kinda should have happened given all that's not gone according to plan as we outgrew shipping from HQ, but I appreciate the support @Medoc. I hope to see less and less as we fix this problem but I also understand the frustration if I was in the customer's shoes.

Hope everybody had a great weekend & got the same weather we enjoyed out here in SF

Stopped in the Chestnut store today lotta nice stuff . I do prefer the old Telegraph Jacket though . Really would like a loose weave  weighty linen in cream or natural

Any chance of Telegraph jackets ever being offered in S/R/L sizing?

Not sure what this would accomplish? Mens jacket sizes are at least somewhat relatable to a real thing(chest size). S/m/l/ xl are totally abstract

I've been bugging them for that very thing for awhile.

The jackets are cut way too small for me to fit into a R which I can sometimes do with XXL.  (46L here)
