Yeah, it took some work to get the the whaler sweater over my Jimmy Neutron noggin.

For those who ordered the long haul jacket, did you end up sizing up? I wear a large in the jack Oxford, and it fits well...but just barely. I'm 6'3 and jackets like this are always hit or miss when it comes to length. A lot of times I end up sacrificing a good fit for length and vice versa. Also, I know I should measure it out but some opinions might help from those who have experience with TS jackets

I went true to size. I basically measured some of my jackets and compared them to the fit guide. Fwiw, trucker jackets are meant to be shorter on the waist, so I don't know that sizing up would help, unless you're looking for longer sleeves and a loose fit. I'm 5'11, 175lbs and ordered the size 42 which is large

Digging the new colors in the Mechanic shirt that just hit the Workshop, especially the Indigo. Is it overkill to have the ISC Utility shirt AND the Indigo Mechanic??

Sizing question though, TS. In the description on the website for the old colors of the mechanic shirt it lists the dude wearing it as "5'9" 170 lbs and he's wearing a 38." On the description for new shirts that just hit the Workshop, "5'9" 170 and lbs and wearing a 42" What am I missing? Dude sized way up?

I'm 5'9" 150 and wear a 38. I could probably do a 36, but I don't think I'd like how tight it would be on my chest (my actual chest measurement is ~37). So if the model is 170, I'd be REALLY surprised if he was in a 38.

^ 36 the length might be too short for you. I'm 5'8" and wear 36. Wishing it was a tad longer.

I'm 5'8 155 and 38 has fit me perfectly in ever TS piece I've bought except one.

Thanks Don. Gonna receive it tomorrow. Pretty excited!

This too, the length on the 38 is damn near perfect for me also. Overall the TS 38's I have are my best fitting non-MTM shirts.

Got my ash whaler yesterday. The knit looks great. Feels nice and heavy. It is rather snug, but I imagine that it will loosen after a few wears - most sweaters do. I'm just glad it doesn't look too form fitting. Just slim,

Indigo shirt was a complete fail for me, I usually wear 42 in TS shirts but a lot of my recent orders the shirts have been way too small. So this round I ordered a 42 and 44 just in case...well, the 42 was too big. Sleeves were too long and the shoulder measurement was too wide. And a weird thing, the cuffs were super tight. Both shirts are on the way back

Yeah, I returned mine as well and am awaiting the Indigo Cherry Blossom replacement.  Very excited about that piece.

Also just ordered the Sanded Mechanics in Khaki.  Love those shirts, that will make 3 for me.  I resisted on the Indigo though as I have a ton of blue shirts.

Two years ago, I was a 38 in the mechanic shirt, but all my shirts from 2015 have been 40. The Baja Stripe Californian was especially tight at 38, and unfortunately couldn't replace it for a 40. However, I haven't tried the recent run of mechanic shirts, so maybe _those_ fit TTS, and everything else is slightly small.

Also, just wanted to say that the sales staff at both stores have been super rad and helpful folks.

well, my baja shirt and confetti chambray fit me good with a 42. So not sure why other shirts releases within months and even weeks of each other at the same size dont fit. But like you said, they offer great customer service and thats the reason I keep going back. If they ever get rid free shipping and returns I will be hesitant with more shopping but for now I love the product when the sizing is spot on like my older oxfords.

I'm liking the new sizing to be honest. I was stuck between sizes in the past but now have a consistently good fit without needing to size up.
