Then my shirt would cost 50% more if I ordered 2 & returned 1 as I'm not in the States.

Someone told me I'm xs in the earlier post. But, knowing the p2p measurement for xs, I'm not so sure now.

I'm actually puzzled about that measurement - I wonder if it's seam-to-seam instead of just measured flat.

Here's what I can tell you:

I own a handful of TS shirts in 36 and if I lay them flat and measure across from pit-to-pit, I get a hair over 20", which matches their size chart on the site (http://taylorstitch.com/pages/fit-guide).  So far I've found the sizing fairly accurate.

How's that measured?  Because it does't match mine (about 20" across from pit-to-pit) and the site's 40.25" chest measurement...

I did not measure any because I do not own any. The 18.24 p2p was given by TS on page 12.

Are any of the details customizable? I'm thinking of things like vents, button stance, gorge height, lapel width, how many buttons--your typical iGent concerns.
Thanks!

We worked with the pattern makers at Southwick to develop a custom fit for us.

You do an initial sizing as it's Made to Measure and then we cut it.

After that we bring it in and make any final adjustments as necessary with our tailor in San Francisco (included in the price).

All details are customizable as well!

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the kind words!

when are fall tattersals making an appearance? That green one from the blog looks awesome and a 38 has my name written all over it when they come back out.

How much shrinkage do you guys see with these shirts?   I just got my first one and thinking I might need to get a size bigger.

that depends on a multitude of factors...fabric/how it was washed/etc but that being said I hand washed because the fit is perfect and It still fits perfect.

I was planning on machine washing cold, but that was another question.  These aren't dry clean only though are they?

TS, did you guys fix the 2"-too-long-arms from the denim utility shirts in the pinstripe ones you have up now?
It's kind of hard to tell from the pics up now.
