Just got my Yosemite shirt, and my-oh-my. It's a perfect fit, much slimmer than I thought it would be from its description, absolutely perfect at a 38, as I thought I might need to size down to a 36. Absolutely wonderful, and thick and cozy. I would, however, object to the word "dusty" in its description, it is a very, very vibrant red.
TS: you guys need to make something this thick and heavy in a Buffalo Check (red/black or blue/black), since its so hard to find anything this heavy nowadays.
Glad you like the Yosemite Shirt! May it be as trustworthy to you as it has been to us!

what are moleskin pants? sorry for the ignorance, its no excuse
Don't be sorry, it's a good question. Moleskin is a heavy weight cotton fabric. Really soft, but also thick. Moleskin pants were traditionally an English Hunting staple, we trimmed the cut but kept the unmatched warmth. This is a pretty brief description, so if anyone else would like to chime in about moleskin pants, feel free!
is the buy 4 customs get the 5th free only for people who visit the store? can we send in measurements? $$?
Or alternately, what about the option of special ordering shirts in the stock measurements, but w/ the ability to pick fabrics?
This seems like something that would not be so hard to facilitate logistically on a small scale, but I realize building it out into a standing feature online, and then backing it up on the production side, is another matter,
Tonight at the Taylor Stitch shop (383 Valencia St), we will be holding an Otter Wax tutorial with Chris Chase from 6-8pm. Enjoy a few beers and learn all you need to know about coating your goods with top tier wax. Hope to see you all there!
