My name is Hendrik and I am the founder of Ties-Necktie.com. I have already been a member of the style forum community for over two years and I am excited to finally become an official affiliate partner.

 

A Little About Me & My Company

I started Ties-Necktie in 2007 after I getting laid off from work. I have always had a fascination with ties. Growing up in Germany, my father always dressed in suit & tie, and in 2003 (after he "retired") he opened a shop for men's neckties and other fine men's accessories in Hannover, Germany. Instead via Brick-and-Mortar store, I wanted to offer quality handmade silk ties online. The beginning was tough. Mistakes were made, time was wasted, and money was lost, but over time we found our niche. Today we have our own in-house design team, carry exclusive online distribution rights for a few small boutique brands, and make annual trips to Como, Italy to buy the finest silk fabrics available. Small world. We are pretty much neighbors then. I grew up in Essen, right next door to Gelsenkirchen. Portugal should be no problem for the German 11.

 

By the way, we actually created a necktie collection for the Euro Cup. I personally will be wearing the Germany stripe tie.

Thanks for the kinds words. In case you need to match your groomsmen ties to bridesmaids dress colors, we carry all fabrics swatches by J.Crew, Alfred Angelo, Davids Bridal, and Dessy. Just send me an e-mail with the color's name, and I would be happy to make recommendations on exact color matches.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree! Cotton ties will be part of the Spring/Summer 2013 collection which will usually be available by November/December.

In about 3-4 weeks we will be receiving new Fall & Winter collections. There will be some wool ties, ties made from cashmere, and also some knit ties. We expect a total of 150 new designs. I will post as soon as the new collections come in.

Hi Everyone,
