I wanted to know what most of the members of this forum wear. What are your favorite labels and what do you recommend for athletic builds? (suits and slacks)

Since it sounds like you're seeking brand recommendations to do personal shopping, what's your budget? It won't help you if people rattle off brands that cost 5 times more than you can afford.

You sir are in the wrong forum.

to the OP:

Polo Ralph Lauren

Rugby Ralph Lauren

Ralph Lauren Black Label and Purple Label

Allen Edmonds, Bally, Alden for shoes

I must say I'm pretty one-sided and bias towards RL. But it keeps me happy.

OP, you would do better to peruse the What Are You Wearing Right Now (WAYWRN III) thread.

Suits/sport coats
Polo Ralph Lauren
Ralph Lauren Purple Label
Corneliani
Armani (the mainline stuff)

Trousers:
Howard Yount
Incotex

Shoes:
Carmina
Ralph Lauren (the good stuff)
Stubbs Wootton

Sportswear:
Woolrich, Ralph, Scotch & Soda. Rag & Bone
RRL

Denim:
J Brand
PRPS
RRL

All the brands I mentioned above in regard to suiting will fit an athletic build. I am a former athlete with a 10 inch drop and pretty broad shoulders.

RRL is my favorite for denim. I think they do an especially great job with their washed denim, and their non-indigo denim products.

I love wings+horns for their hoodies and chinos. The Westpoint Chinos are a great cut for slim pants, and are the only ones I own that taper perfectly at the leg. and I like rag & bone a lot for their button-up shirts.

Alden and Crockett and Jones are my shoe brands. I prefer Alden for shell cordovan, but I think for calf Crockett and Jones is much better.

For leather goods, I really like Nicholas Hollows. He makes great casual wallets and belts.

No. I wanted to make sure I was in the right forum. I like a lot of the labels I've heard. I've had good luck with, for casual wear: John Varvatos, Wings and Horns, Woolrich, G-Star (some), Diesel (only the bootcut when i wear my motorcycle boots). Baldwin, A&G, Levi's, Billy Reid, Lacoste, Band of Outsiders, Burberry, J Linderbeg, Vince, and the list goes on, but not much longer.

Well, I'm not super rich (yet). I must tell you I work in a clothing store and get fantastic deals on nice designer's. 50-90% off.

I like obscure, diffcult to obtain Italian/French/English/German/Japanese goods.

I like to know that I'm not wearing the same sh*t that every other schmuck is wearing.

i happen to be very partial to zegna these days.

i have a bit of a larger build. (ok im a fat horse) i find that barba shirts fit me very well, easily kopped at shopthefinest.com, and i am a big fan of RLPL and their jackets fit me great.

good luck.
