All I meant to say was that I hope you don't just take a few 5-minute clips out of context and jump to a conclusion, because there is a lot of funny stuff in both shows. I'd think a fan of Aykroyd would appreciate it.
I just can't recall meeting someone who legitimately tried to get into Seinfeld or Curb and came to the conclusion that it just "wasn't funny."

I appreciate your response. Actually, in college, I had two roommates who were really in to Seinfeld, so I saw a lot of episodes (or partials).

Like most on this thread, I dish out a lot of crap, but I mean no ill will. If someone likes it, cool. It's just not for me.

Grooming?

Good for you guy... thumbs-up.gif

Why in the hell is this thread still going?

Because it's still more entertaining than the Friends reruns currently showing on three different channels simultaneously.

I can't believe there's someone that has never laughed at a Seinfeld episode. There's got to be some underlying mental disorder going on there. And no, it's not about different tastes. Some people might prefer Big Mama's House to Seinfeld, but they still crack a smile when they see the shrinkage or Festivus scenes.

I know a girl who likes Leno and doesn't find Conan funny in the least. Some people are not meant to be understood...

Lately, Conan's schtick has gotten kind of sad.

Neither of them have ever been funny.

They're both not very funny, but I can imagine why someone doesn't find Conan funny at all. A lot of his stuff really isn't funny.

My mother likes Leno but doesn't like Conan. I don't really understand the appeal of watching either, but that isn't to say that I've never laughed at them.
