Adele is a good singer, I quite like some of her songs but she needs a good fucking to get over this lad who's dumped her.
Now I have. Uggo.

Not vouching either of those specific brand/items, but adapters can be found for almost nothing.

My sister bought me an iPod for my birthday that I almost never use. In fact, the only way I've ever used it is to play some files I downloaded off the intarwebs on my stereo system (my TEAC cd player has a USB port that you can plug an iPod into to play audio through its high(er)-end DACs.)

Most of the music I listen to at home is stuff I'd rather listen to actively rather than when I'm driving. Plus, I'm afraid if I cut myself off from top-40 music, I'll lose one of the few potential conversation starters I have.

Hey, "Firework" has helped get me through some dark, dark times.

Taylor Swift is not a name I recognise, is she the bint who did that Call me Maybe thing? She's shite if so.

You are dead to me. mad.gif

The bigger issue is that it was stolen from a better lyricist - katy's tryst with him inspired the song.

Now surely you realize that lyric was inspired by a Kerouac quote that made the rounds during the MySpace era?

Adele is overplayed and especially by my wife...

I endured years of musical abuse from her starting with Dido White flag's album and James Blunt...

Adele is killing my couple.

Kerouac, smeurowhack. Just as any call to suck out all the marrow of life is in reference, any expression of Make 'em go/say ugghh/ooo is due to Master P.

Universal familiarity with his phraseology takes ownership of that certain sequences of words - especially used in a similar rhythm, vein. I believe that lyric was "inspired" by On the Road - if you mean "Katy Perry wanted a song inspired by On the Road."

Let's give credit where credit is due:

Also, why exactly Katy Perry's "Wide Awake" sounded so familiar bugged me until I realized she basically ripped off Lenny Kravitz' "Fly Away".

At least this time she isn't ripping off her own music.

why are you in type of places that would be overplaying her music? confused.gif

I'm digging Sia's We Are Born album.

I will give you middle-aged fathers this: I do not consider Ke$ha a talented female musician at all. I'm sure she works hard and her songs (beats & melodies mostly) are infectious but she is nowhere in the same league as GaGa, KP, Adele, M.I.A., etc. Thankfully, she hasn't released anything of note for a minute.

Neo - we agree that Ke$ha is a worthless piece of crap. Thank you nod[1].gif

Although I'm far from middle-aged.
