Filson bags in blue, limited edition of 30 -- got my hands on one! :-)

Being obsessed with Filson and navy blue, I was really excited to procure one of their new limited edition bags today.

If you are interested, PM me and I'll send you the info on how to get one.

As far as I know, the Red Label for Filson started out as a collaboration with Nanamica, the Japanese brand known for collaborations with classic American brands. They recently expanded the line, with the latest collaboration being with 14 oz Berlin. I contacted them to see if they would ship to the US, but alas they would not.

However, I recently found a way to get one, and at a decent price, from a reseller.

The bag on the left (medium field bag #70232) is the limited edition one, with only 30 pieces made. The bag on the right is from the Japanese Nanamica line, no longer available in blue, as far as I know.

As far as the 256, it's available now for $320 with free shipping from Germany. PM me if you're interested in the details of how to procure it.

Blue zippered tote is back in stock at UO and, randomly, at Hilton's Tent city.

I paid $120 for mine with a coupon at UO. Also, I had the handles customized so that it would like an overnight bag (short handles), and not like a tote (long handles).

I think you can get 15% off (and maybe free shipping too) at Hilton's.

Question: a member from the filson with photos thread said that the navy blue bags have a softer material and the leather doesn't look as good. And the fabric tends to attract dust. Do you find these to be a problem? Thanks!

Hmmm... yes the material is a bit softer than the tan canvas. However, I think it's still going to be very durable. As for the leather, I would disagree--I think it looks great. Haven't really had a problem with it collecting dust.

just got this as xmas present from Unionmade, any info on its existence/history (including collabs). The red label is more subtle, hidden inside. Price was more reasonable than the 14 oz Berlin one.
