Ralph Lauren Purple Label- Examplary Fit-Pics - Page 2

very few, if any, of the forumites have the model-like physique to look absolutely best in the RLPL.

I don't think the people who look great to me are the ones with model-like physiques. For example, lots of people on the pre-2010 HOF thread look great at different heights & weights.
I guess I'm not looking for a perfect fit of RLPL, but just a few nice ones that normal people are pulling off, you know what I mean?

This is sort of like a Reevolving threak, only with less cloth tape and fewer creepy pics.

Here's one of mine. You be the judge if it's what you're looking for. I guess you're looking for suits and this is a sport coat. smile.gif

That is great. Do you have one of a suit, by any chance?

No, just two more sport coats, one of which is untailored.

Nearly all those people in the pre-2010 are wearing bespoke clothes.

^That's besides the point (Many of those pics are not bespoke, btw). I'm saying that people who don't have model physiques can still look very good in RLPL and represent a real-life, non-pinned & photoshopped representation of the suits. I'm not talking about freaking H&M here.

Does anyone know what happened to Ralph Lauren Purple Label?  The suiting is no longer available in Boston or Philadelphia, only in the largest flagship stores -- NY, Beverly Hills, Chicago, London, Paris, Milan, and Moscow.  Why is it being pulled back?  I remember buying a RLPL grey suit in Philadelphia in 2002 or so, and I still wear it 11 years later.  Out of all of RL's tailored clothing lines, I found Purple Label to be the best fitting and the best looking.
