Stopped by bloomingdales tonight to check out the stock. Lotta new items in, Herringbone railroader was my grail piece this season but after trying it on I was highly discouraged with it's fit and the fact that it was really thin. The wool had a rough handfeel, much moreso than other pieces I own from EG. Corduroy lining was sparse and didnt cover as much of the inside as I had hoped. Fit huge if you size TTS. Also had the camo bedford. Tried it on and it was too gimmicky to me. If the fabric was overdyed it might be better but the print was much too obvious. Overall, I think the fits are weird this season, but going by the lookbook pics I think they wanted a baggy anti-fit on most of their outerwear, definitely good for layering.
Yeah, it's a beautiful piece. A little overkill for California, or it's one I certainly would've picked up. As it is, AW12 killed me... A Cruiser in whipcord, Bedford in whipcord, USN pants in whipcord, wool striped button shawl, striped wool jersey pop over, some sweatpants... oof.

Did you noticed if they carried this knit plaid jakcet? I'm looking for a S. Also which Bloomingdales?
Just received the overparka—really substantial warm piece.
It fits about a half size larger than tagged.
Yeah i receivd that piece myself as well recently, its an amazing piece. I got the olive wool flannel one with nyco extra flap bit, i love that part alone! The O/P ive been told is Daiki's favourite piece so that's quite encouranging.

As much as I love my Railroader and its oversized fit, the back darts out and I've been debating getting it slimmed up a bit. I may try washing it on warm (I've got the overdyed indigo one) and see if that shrinks it down. The evolution on the fabric is great, so I am always wearing it.
Aspecto has a small amount of their stock on promo http://www.aspecto.co.uk/l0-mens-l1-men's-clothing-l2-engineered-garments.html. Not sure how long they are reduced for. Would've bought the Landsdown as thats one of the pieces I'm interested in but inevitably my size is sold out. Looks like someone picked up a 3 piece from this site as all the Serge items in L are sold out.
I was wondering, are there any trousers in the 20oz Melton fabric?
