Looking for a size large, or xl

You mean the shooting jacket from spring? Shit man, if I found one in small I'd be ecstatic.

Amazing deals.

PS - I had to size up for the Shooting Jacket. Small was too snug.

A few weeks back I tried to find a pair of the desert pants in cotton and gave up. As far as I know, Nepenthes was only retailer in the US (I also searched the UK stores - zilch) that picked them up - I too was looking for a 34 - and all they had left was a 36. I see the USN Pant a lot, but not one desert pant. It makes me sad. Good luck!

On a seperate note yesterday i received the shawl collar field jacket/shirt in herringbone in size medium, fit is perfect on this it's actually the first item in the last 3 years that has fit me off the peg from EG.
Think i might buy the wool denim landsdown as my final F/W purchase.
Yeah, some of the measurements I've seen for FW12 look closer to the seasons a few years ago. I've haven't picked up anything from this season because FW stuff is generally too warm for where I live, but I might grab some stuff on sale since the fit seems like a few years ago when EG fit me better.

Context has the crusher and bucket. Jonathan & Olivia in Canada has the crew cap. I bought a wool crew cap from The Bureau when I bought a landsdown jacket. Normally, I don't like the one size fits most cap because of the gap in back with the adjustable plastic thing, but the design solution on the crew cap is pretty good.
There is a fabric strap that adjusts the size of the cap, a metal buckle that holds it in place, and the extra strap has a metal tip end that tucks the extra fabric into a slit.
Thanks. I'm specifically looking for the baseball style caps. How does it fit? I have an enormous head, haha.

I don't think J&O will ship.

I don't know where you're at, but I ordered from J&O two weeks ago and they shipped to me in Colorado.

!

If the strap is not tightened, it measures 24" around - in hat size that's around 23 7/8 - I think

How about the depth of the crown... I too have a giant head, and can't really wear traditional, high-crown, baseball hats. I gotta stick to low profile caps- Ebbets historical styles, for example, or Filson's duckbill cap, or camp caps.

the crown is roughly 4 3/4 and the bill is nearly 3 at the outermost tip. It's a fine hat and hangs next to a Pendleton wool cap, ready for action.

Thanks ritchee

Anybody tried the shawl knit jacket on? It looks like a small would fit in the chest and shoulders, but I'm not sure if it'll be too short (I'm 6'1"). I'm looking at this one:

Alternatively, any other recommendations from the stuff they have at Context? I have about $250 in Context cash to use up ASAP.
