^ Both are fantastic, imo. Tried both on; I personally like the lined Bedfords more.

If I had the $, I'd get the grey herringbone. It's a piece you can wear forever, with anything.

The pictures of the Grey Homespun Jersey Bedford (that Drinkwaters are carrying) and that Herringbone Jersey Bedford look the same to me. Are they definitely two different jackets?

IIRC the Olive's this season are true olive or more of a fatigue color - so, great. I'm pretty much decided to go in one the Grey Herribone/Whatever Bedford. Both are fantastic jackets - EG really nailed what I look for in jackets this season.

have any stockists received the 19th c bd floral flannels? the brown one looks awesome. i checked a bunch of stockists last night, but i didn't see any that have it yet.

my herringbone truman arrived earlier this week from nepenthes ny. it's a really great piece and will definitely get a lot of wear once the temps cool down. i'll try to take some fit pics this weekend.

Here's a quick picture of an Andover + cinch pant "suit" in the navy wool uniform serge:



For reference, I'm about 5'10 / 150 lbs / jacket size ~36. Jacket pictured is a Small, cinch pants are a 32. The jacket is fully lined and the pants are lined to the knee, so the whole thing is nice and heavy. Apologies for the overexposed photos; it was really hot and I ran out of patience haha.

Just a quick observation about the watermark (is that the right word?) on the wool serge: it's not always in the same spot. Ie. On a pair of size 30 cinch pants, the water mark was close enough to the hem that it was visible when you cuffed the bottoms. However on my size 32's it's too high up to be seen, which is kind of a bummer because it's pretty neat:

I don't think they pay attention to the branding because its stamped on the fabric rolls straight outta production. The patterns probably aren't cut in any specific way either. Usually uniform serge is lined so this issue is not that common. I love my uniform serge bedford, its warm but still breathes better than my whipcord cotton bedford surprisingly.
