I want to say that the Truman is "more traditional" - I've found the Bedford to be typically boxy for EG, I fit a large yesterday (a darker grey wool jacket, also lovely, in competition w/ the Truman for new winter layer), and generally have a hard time fitting EG jackets between M and L. I need the L to accomodate my shoulders/chest, but that usually leaves me too much room in the body. That said, the wool Bedford in L was a good fit, integrating the EG look into something that I feel actually fits.

The Truman in medium really fit me perfectly, the large was clearly large.. The length of the jacket is a bit longer (more typical for a sportcoat). If you don't have the opportunity to compare these two in person, as I did, I do strongly recommend the Truman, even at the price.

Thanks for taking the time to get back to me, that's really helpful.

That looks really nice. Where were you able to find it? I used the two I have from the spring, especially the chambray, as super casual unstructured sports jackets by folding the collars down and throwing on a tie.

Can you comment on the fit at all? Compared to a work shirt?
Does it have the super high cut gussets as well?

Dino - I sure will once i receive the items, hopefully end of the week.

FlyingLotus - I havent received the items as of yet, but I intend to wear it as a shirt that sits over something else hence why i went Medium in the denim work shirt. Ill top that off with a duffle coat in a navy or the Charcoal with Navy camo which i ordered... And Yes the B/C shirts have gussets, the gussets appear quite high.

How'd you size the dayton lotus? Looks pretty underwhelming in pics, but it's a good shape and the simplicity will at least accentuate the fabric.

Knight - that would be most appreciated. I'm a XS in EG & just wanna make sure before I ask Gary.

I just go with my normal EG size, for the dayton - its a bit boxy which i like
Double check the measurements to make sure though.
