Not in the industry, but I can tell that EG sells fairly well at full retail and incredibly well at 20-40% off. I wanted a bucket hat and while Nepenthes has a million different kinds that no one else carried, they've been long gone for a while.

I have to agree. I luckily snatched up one of the blanket stripe ones during context's post christmas sale. Keep your eyes on ebay. I've seen a couple pop up on there in the past month.

The higher front pocket, which is deeper has a reversible zipper that allows the jacket to be packable. Same pocket has the EG label on the inside.

So the entire jacket can be tucked into this single pocket and zipped up! Tried it myself, and there was space left over as well. You do however end up with the EG tags, washing instructions etc left visible on the outside of the pouch.

Dayton for fall 2012 runs big. I have to cuff the sleeves on my large and its a little billowy in the body, moreso than their shirting. Looks better baggier, still recommend tts unless you are in between sizes

hello guys, hope i'm not posting in the wrong place here - if so tell me and i'll remove.

so, i'm 5'7 and 145 pounds. i wear a size 38 OTR jacket in a uniqlo blazer and most other brands. anyways, i bought the attached jacket last winter (or maybe the one before) from dover street market in London. its been sitting in my closet and hasnt been worn more than once as its too big, espically in the body and arms.

so - would you guys recommend i purchase a small, or extra small in the future?? sizing advice would be much appreciated.

also, i'll post the jacket i have. if anyone has a small or extra small they want to trade i would be up for that!

here are the details on mine:
- purchase last winter or winter before
- kept in closet on proper sized hanger (kirbys hanger project 15.5)
- closet also houses bespoke clothes and is well maintained (dusted and shaken out weekly).
- worn once outdoors
- herringbone grey
- gorgeous jacket really. i have bespoke casual jackets made up, but to my eye the EG jackets look stunning with denim whereas bespoke blazers look too "neat".
