Engineered Garments FW 2012 - Page 89

Here's some quick pics to support my last post, this would be fw09 compared to fw12 which is the most drastic difference I have between xs andovers.
(ps- both suits unaltered, hanging from the same spot and on same type/brand of wide wood hanger)

5'7, 180lbs? You bulking, bruh?

Yep. Up from 160lbs.. was going to stop at 185lbs and go down to 175lbs.. but i might just do maintenance at 185lbs because I like the extra weight and strength A LOT. Someone here wrote me my diet and i'm actually not gaining much body fat with this bulk, a lot less than i did last time... gained a little in my face but w/e

Can anyone confirm if jacket is supposed to be packable within the left upper front pocket? There's a double sided zipper on this pocket only which seems odd.

Do you mind telling me the pit to pit measurements on your medium? Need to be pretty careful when I choose sizes cause I'm only 5'9" tall but got a chest almost like a large (41.3"). Thanks alot

22 inches measured 1inch down from pit to pit.

Let me know if you need any additional measurements.

One thing that isn't evident in any of the pictures I've seen online--both pockets wrap around to the back and are double the size that they appear, and they both have two way zips. One is a huge long pocket and the other is split into two pockets. The higher ticket-ish pocket is also very deep. It's almost like a cargo windbreaker. Got it at TBS for a song after wanting it all season and I couldn't be happier with it. Been using it in the rain and it holds up great.

The higher front pocket, which is deeper has a reversible zipper that allows the jacket to be packable. Same pocket has the EG label on the inside.

So the entire jacket can be tucked into this single pocket and zipped up! Tried it myself, and there was space left over as well. You do however end up with the EG tags, washing instructions etc left visible on the outside of the pouch.

Trying really hard to not to proxy from Japan but it seems unlikely now

Are you referring to the shawls? Trying to find one for my ladyfriend. Anyone know if they have them instock/on sale at nepenthes?

Also a big thank you to the guys at Drinkwater's. Popped in at the beginning of their sale and picked up this season's trail parka at an amazing price.

Medium fw bird shooter on eBay right now.. Someone cop that
post #1330 of 1411
I heart my birdshooter. I have the same one in size large. Fits big, wear tts or easily get away with a medium if you're normally a large and don't want to layer.

That's what I'm looking for too, going to call nepenthes today and see if they still have that.

Thanks, I'll let you guys know if they did restock. I'm not necessarily attached to the stripes, would take the other options.
