The one that I got (EG longwing in chestnut) is probably a close second for versatility. It's all about personal taste though.

Anyone know which models are made by G & G?

I kopped the brown ankle boots that look the Dover as well as the Keston black penny loafer.

The sales people seemed ignorant when it came to the makers. I asked 2 reps and got two different answers on every pair I asked.

They take phone orders so not sure why you'd need a proxy here.

I have the Brooksville (longwing) and the Braylon (blucher captoe) and I think the blucher is the most versatile of the two. But the Dover Boot strikes me as easily the most versatile.

The 3-eyelet plaintoe with medallion is G&G, IIRC. Top pic above, second from right. Actually, I think the loafer next to it on the left is also G&G.

Edit - not sure who you dealt with. Eric Walker knows all that stuff backwards and forwards.
