I am sure the ones pictured are equally cool - the one with the twist. Just bad photo. How did you get them to throw in trees?

Thats the Lobb Ashley. I posted it to show you that stitching did look good on a loafer.

Also here - who makes these, Sassetti?

Sadly Ralph made an offer I couldn't refuse, so I had to part with the place... still burns my heart to see it today

Yea, it's at 888 Madison Ave. There's a couple different RL stores there and the one you want is the location on the NE corner of 72nd & Madison.

Pretty sure the Boot is not The Shannon. EG reference is The Halifax. I will confirm when they arrive.
I am curious on the G&G Loafer. Is it an early version of The Antibes?
So the EG for RLPL is known as the Brendon ( aka Halifax) - 89 Last

Yes, those were the models on sale. Back then (about 2 1/2 years ago) I paid only $375 for the Peerings.

^^^I dont know why people keep saying this - they last time they had a sale like this was x-mas and it was better. Most EG were 40% off with another 30% off on top of that. I got the Brooksville for $540.

Glad I missed that one then because I would have walked away w/ more than just the brooksville

I grabbed the Ranell back then as well. I think there are more models for sale now, just minus the extra 30% but still a good price for EG and G&G, IMO.
