Fit Check: Gant Rugger 'Easy Fit' Oxford

Hey all,

I recently picked up this oxford shirt from Gant Rugger: http://us.gant.com/r1-j-oxford-awning-stripe-ez-obd

I'm 6'4'', 220lbs. (I have big legs). Despite loving the brand, most of the Gant Rugger stuff is cut rather slim and short, making my selection a somewhat more limited. I was looking for an oxford shirt that I could just wear casually and found this.

The size is L. The shirt is a bit more billowy than what I'm used to, but I'm afraid if I size down to M it will be too short in length. I don't think it's too big per se, but rather just slightly bigger than what I usually wear. I have a bunch of slim-fit Brooks Brothers shirts but wanted to try something a bit more casual. I'm just wondering if anyone else thinks it looks big or off at all. Thanks.

How is the fit around the biceps?

I want to buy a Gant Rugger shirt in easy fit too, but I have very skinny arms.

It does look good. I picked up a S, though I usually wear M. I found that while I could comfortably wear a M, the S fit quite well, and I am a 40 R in suits and have a 34 W. The M was roomy in the back and the curved tail was a little long. Compared to the Hugger fit, the John's Oxford is a little looser, though by no means billowy on the sides. I think it has an unusually long tail though.

Try your local Urban Outfitters (that's where I found mine). I don't like 90% of the hipster stuff they usually stock, but I have found some of my best deals there.
