I can see the stitching whenever i sit down and it looks fragile. Would this help tighten it up?

Why do you constantly think soaking your jeans will make them stronger?
Jeans are jeans, if they break then fix 'em.

Your threads are constantly about how soaking will magiclly make your jeans stronger against crotch blowouts or what not.

If you're worried about the outseam just go get it sewn over again. Anyone with a sewing machine could do it.

wearing jeans can be very very scary!

if you buy bigger jeans, there will be less stress on the seams

SIZE UP BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!

If it's all-cotton thread, then soaking might shrink the thread and keep you from seeing it when sitting. This probably doesn't have anything to do w/strength.

It's the same concept as shrinking the thread at the hem, which causes the hem to pucker. On jeans w/flat-felled outseams, you'll see the same thing on the outseam.

I'm sure your jeans were made with some kind of good construction involved. If they bust out, they bust out.. if not.. all the better. IMO I wouldn't soak 'em...
