Great advice, seeing a tailor is always a good idea with off the rack stuff.

I've tried those and they just seem way too baggy for someone with a slim build.

Judging by the fit pics of the OP, especially around the rear end, it might just fit the bill.

Hello all,

Today I purchased 2 pairs of the urban slim fit, in 34x34.  The length is pretty perfect now, like a 1/4-1/2 a break.  But I'm 6'4, and  cannot afford to lose any more length.

I asked multiple sales people and they said, despite it being 100 % cotton, that they are pre-shrunk and will not shrink (and if so very negligibly).  But they obviously want to sell pants.

Do you think it'll be okay?  FWIW, I was told if they shrink too much they could be returned as defective.

Also wrt formal-ness, when I tried them on with a pair of burgundy cap-toe derbies they looked good.  Not too casual with the shoe.

I own a few pairs and none of them shrink. So don't worry.
