The England Norway game was awful...

Ashley Young was very good...

I think Forlán played better overall than Müller, although both completely dropped off the radar after WC2010 (as WCRevelations tend to do...)

Very excited to watch this. Was somewhat disappointed to see Klinsmann call Donovan again, but when your "elite" player pool is so small, I guess you don't have a choice. Dempsey had some choice (disguised) words for Donovan this week in commenting that he wanted to play CL football next year. "If I'd wanted to be comfortable in my game, I would have stayed in MLS." - or something to that effect. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Anyone know if the USA/Scotland game is being aired on network TV or is a stream the best bet? Anything online says NBC Universal Sports, but not sure if reg.NBC will have that...?

NBC Sports Network - 603 on DirecTV, so I don't believe it'll be on regular NBC.

Shameful. ESPN is instead airing NCAA Lacrosse and multiple channels of NCAA women's softball. facepalm.gif And in an olympic year nonetheless.

EDIT: Love the Tartan Army. WTF is up with the singer of the US nat'anthem? Even the Spanish commentators are saying how bad she sucked!

That went well. Boyd did alright, but he couldn't seem to get things sorted out enough in the box to get a decent shot off. There was some good movement and nice passes around the box. I don't have a problem with Donovan playing in qualifiers, but I'm not too thrilled with him playing the full match for friendlies. I think Gomez, Boyd, Altidore (when back) and the younger players should get the majority of the minutes for friendlies. Donovan's proven what he can do, so why not give the younger guys chances to gain experience? Wednesday should be interesting. I wonder what type of team Brazil will be putting out.

Bradley's goal was a fantastic strike. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif He really owned midfield the entire game.

Lucky with the curve, but a great strike off that bounce
