Sell Ronaldo.

Buy Bale.

Sup idfnl?

Ronaldo is 28. Sell him now, vintage-Wegner style for a massive return. Buy a 22(?) year old bale to replace him on that left wing. Ronaldo is still producing, but let him go w/ Mou to CFC and get teh monies for a younger, more evenly balanced team.

Sup yo.

For Real, could be a good move but risky. Ronaldo will outperform Bale for a few more seasons, but British players don't tend to do very well in Spain. Its a risk. Why not swap Di Maria + Higuain for Bale instead... man, Bale and Ronaldo up the wings...

Has Ronaldo indicated he wants to leave?

How about the Bale goal over the weekend? Bale is the hottest commodity in world football... any doubters left here that he's not #3??

Ancelotto, I don't know. He's already had a stint there as manager. Shit, give M Laudrup a go... why not? He's been stellar at Swansea.

Ronaldo hasn't said anything about wanting to leave, but he's very close to Mou, so you never know if he may be "unhappy" again.

RM has already come out saying they'll sell Higuaín this summer (baldy[1].gif) but Di María is a very good player. Benz should be the one going. Get Agüero instead.

I love Di María's workrate, and he can really draw defenders to him. He goes down easily, but he is a waif to begin with.

Özil needs to be the AMF of our team for years to come. Hoard him like precious metals.

Xabi Alonso hasn't looked right the whole second half of the season. And with the ConfedCup, he won't be well rested through the summer. I am warming to Khedira (what, 3 seasons in) and think he serves as a very good shuttler, to connect deep midfield with the attack. A box-to-box type. Modric started come come alive in the last 1/3 of the season, but I'm still not sold.

Kaká's time is up. Please let him leave and free up the wage bill.

Sahin can stay in germany. Gundogen is better.

Defense: Pepe needs to go and cash in somewhere. Albiol too - get some fresh blood and competition. Ramos and Varane are the CB pairing. I'd sell Coentrão over Marcelo - and it looks more likely that that would happen with Mou leaving. I still think Arbeloa has something to give, but I'll jump on the bandwagon and say "time to buy back another Cantera product" in Carvajal.

Man - all my favorite players are getting old and it's no longer practical to mass them into one team. frown.gif

David Silva's star has fallen after this season. I'd say go after Mata too, but he and Özil play too similar of roles.

Ideal signing for the summer for me would be Agüero. If contingent on Ronaldo, I'd spring too for Bale. Maybe even Zlatan could be tempted after his bust up with Leonardo in the PSG locker room. He's 31 or so, but can still do his particular brand of business.

In defense, need some cover, but don't want to displace Varane nor Ramos. Midfield is the great enigma.

EDIT: Carlo Ancelotti has never coached Madrid...

I saw Lukaku when Chelsea came to Seattle. He was really impressive. Maybe better than Drogba someday. Saw De Bruyne as well but have less recollection of his contribution.

I heard De Bryne signing a contract at BVB?

Also this.

^ is good

Related -- MLS has a low salary cap so it is hard to win the league just by swinging a big bag of money around. I would love it if there were no cap (or if the cap were significantly raised) as it would benefit the Sounders hugely.

Lukuku might stay with his current club...

WBA has done well with him..

Better to develop him than the bench at Chelsea.

I liked the Barca away jersey until I saw it paired w/ the shorts - a different color (shorts) would be better

Those aren't wolves - that Romulus & Remus, the (human) twins who founded Rome...
