US should be able to protest smog conditions in Mexico City - "not conducive to professional sport" or some bull like that.

Get over it.

Do you remember the games from the seventies and eighties with the orange balls????

That was crazy football..

That snow game was the first entire game I sat through. Pretty awesome. Can't wait for tonight.

France / Spain - seeing the Roja in all red caused a double take, but I kind of like it.

Related: don't understand UEFA's thing against teams wearing their traditional colors and kids. No.... we need EVERYTHING COLORBLOCKED NOW!!!!

2nd yellow on Pogba was absolute bull. Hand it to Spain again.

The center backs for the U.S. played well last night. Zusi didn't have as much action as them, but he made his plays when he needed to. Beasley was getting beat consistently. He always seemed to be reaching for some body part, but Klinsmann never made a change. I was just waiting for that to bite them in the final ten minutes. the back line was about the only thing we can dissect as the attack was nonexistent. I'm glad they got a point, but they were fortunate to get it.

Mex. matchup left me feeling that Klinsmann was very justified in giving Altidore the cold shoulder.

Looks like Donovan has decided to come back after all.

Also Diaby out for 9-months w/ ACL tear, and Wilshire further delayed in returning to action. ARSENAL! ARSENAL! ARSENAL!

Diaby...just tragic.

Honestly speaking, who would be an almost like-for-like replacement for Diaby? You won't find a more technically gifted player that's as smooth on the ball as Abou Diaby. Dude is seriously good but just absolutely cursed.

At worst, when he's rusty, he can be quite languorous but at his best he's an absolute joy to watch on the ball - especially when he dribbles and just glides through dudes with his long strides. Would have been one of the most complete players if he was just more hardy.

It really is sad that he's become something of a joke amongst a lot of people.

A replacement will definitely be needed. Just saying though, players with that kind of physique and technical ability don't come up too often.

Come on Michu, score another goal so Spurs are held to only one point! (And Arsenal can move up)

God I hate John Terry.

Oh, and Bale scores a lovely goal.
