here's something i found interesting. this past summer, falcao was continually offered to chelsea and abramovic refused because he had the plan of signing torres, the team was meant to be built arround fernando. hindsight 20/20 etc but i doubt anyone here had very high hopes for torres showing his worth (correct me if I'm wrong DL) and then don't forget that night with the hat trick falcao had
Boys, Borussia Dortmund can really win this thing. What a great team and top manager. Reminds me of that '94 Ajax side.
Since my side is 99% likely to be out, I have to say it would be fun to have one of the non-usual suspects win it. I was impressed by Shaktar. I am also wondering what it would be like if the "Welcome To Hell" Turks won it all. It would be a nice change.

I would be very, very, very surprised. They just don't have the depth of the big teams to compete on all fronts. Fantastic starting XI, a few good impact players, but overall not enough quality on the bench.

fuck I cannot believe what happened over the last two days.
Mind blown. It is like I woke up and I was a woman. Or that Ms. DLester was actually an orangutan.
.
this was the first pic today on the Chelsea blog I follow, apt.
I still like the SAFs latest dig at him. Yesterday, when I was in London every Chelsea fan I met was pissed off by the decision and irate they hired rafa

Grant you that point. Its not a 22 player club. But neither was Ajax '94.
If anyone deserves it, they do. I'm supremely impressed with Borussia. Part of the story here is they are not a 22 player club. Madrid would be obvious, but hear to hear I believe Dortmund was better.

Mind still reelling......
If he wins consistently it will be fine in the end. He has zero runway though, so the wins better come fast. He will be booed by many at the first home game this weekend.
The sad thing is that there was no one really left. Every time I see Rafa in the training kit I get a shiver down my spine, but it isn't helpful to not back the manager (as much as it pains me to say). The away game at Anfield this year will be interesting.
Thankfully Eva is still there. I was reading something about her being let go, but thankfully that is not the case.
