love arsenal fans being hypocrites about sahin and how they dont need him after liverpool won his signature.

"this is not stingy business on arsenal’s side. Apparently if we were to pay 90k of his 120k weekly salary this would come out to 5 mil plus the 2 mil loan agreement then it would come to 7 mil. Why would we pay 7 mil for a player that we may only have for one year??"
lol about taking wages into account with regards to loan fee.

"Sahin is what how much they won’t for him, why has he not made Madrid’s regular first team?"
lol at comparing real's midfield vs arsenal's. even for 1 year, he will be terrific. mourinho wants sahin back?

anyone follows seria a/inter? hope they do well this season with the great signings + strama.

more insanity from Arsenal fans
Quote:
Plus [Bacelona's] team is mostly Arsenal cast offs at this point anyway. Do we really need Cesc back? We have Cazorla. Do we really need Song back? We have...,uh, Cazorla.

personally i wouldnt keep robin if it meant other players miss out. we got ramsey, coquelin, wilshere and frimpong. still apprentices but they need good guidance. ala rosicky, diaby, arteta, cazlora, etc

To be fair, at the time Squillaci seemed like an alright buy...And Bendtner is talented

we dont need another signing

The thing is, with all this obsession over penny pinching, we have a retarded wage structure that limits the top players and rewards our garbage by keeping them very high. It's near a socialist system. Difference between RVP and Denilson, for example, is much smaller than Rooney and Jones salaries. It's insane that our wage bill is near MUFC's and we have the squad we do. Never mind that since 2006 we're essentially in the + in the transfer window, selling more than we bring in (dollar-wise).

And we're always told that it's the stadium. The stadium this and the stadium that. Well, as far as I know the stadium costs are fixed long term loans and are only like 30m a season. Let's not forget that we have the 4th or 5th highest revenues in world football, that's over 250m or something. It just doesn't add up. There has to be enormous waste going on at the club for us to be in this situation where we're still selling all our star players and hunting for bargains amongst the bankrupt and relegated teams of Europe. Couple that with highest ticket costs in the league and one wonders who these muppets are stil attending every match blindly instead of protesting this profiteering venture at our entertainment's expense.

yeah, i think you mentioned about the socialist aspect earlier. the thing is, with football clubs, you cannot earn money to succeed. see moratti, berlusc who spent a lot in their clubs. owning football clubs means listening to your heart > brains. still prefer the excessive arab wealth spending style in PSG rather than corporate-like arsenal. hate glazer and US owners in general thinking they can earn from football, bringing their rigged financial instruments over.

all successful clubs are almost always in the red, except maybe bayern and other german robots.

the germans restructured completely as a league, which works if everyone does it. their is now much more open and competitive makes it more entertaining but is now will have troubles attracting top foreign talents. if the fair play rules ever came into effect then all the leagues would end up that way but the big teams won't stand for it as it chips away at their profits.

lol @ ManUtd stock now13.26 that's what they get for listing in US where nobody cares

^^ Gotta agree with you there but it is fun to speculate.

arsenal dominted first half possession 70 30 but we sucked in final 3rd, giroud is kinda useless so far, he screwed up several times in the box either bad touch or bad pass.
i am wondering what exactly diaby's role is except for falling over / losing possession ...

meatsacker and crouch are bound to get entangled with their noodly appendages crossing in the box, battle of the epl bean poles

Mr Wenger has on his spectacles cool.gif

Not my fault you don't know what you're talking about. But you support ManU, so there's really no surprise there.

Arsenal did not look like they might accidentally put the ball into the goal. Giroud had a great shot at the end of the game from distance, but Wenger was not happy with the attempt.

RVP on yesterday's goal and the injury to Rooney. I thikn if you watch this clip you can not help but like him--though I know some here will gladly disagree. (Apologies in advance, as I don't know how to share the video as link and don't have the time to figure it out.)

i dont think you can embed bbc player video but i saw this interview earlier, he's a great guy and an outstanding talent. "lucky goal" he says with a little smile hehe being modest buy we all know he has a penchant for the spectacular.

Kolo looking solid (as is the case with anyone who leaves arsenal lol)

Really hoping Liverpool can hang on for at least a draw.

Balotelli should be sent to bed without his dinner. He is only on the pitch to win free kicks. Typical City behaviour.

Skyrtel really unlucky - had to feel for him and I think Liverpool were the slightly better side deserving of the win. Tevez does know how to be in the right place . . ..
