Again, just barely wrapped up a replay.

De Rossi and Pirlo. LIKE A FREAKING BOSS ALL GAME.

Pirlo's penalty made me break into laughter - such a player. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Balotelli constantly looks like he's on the verge of completely going insane. Maybe that's just his rep speaking louder, but DANG.

Hart's demon faces trying to psych out pk shooters was hilarious.

Gerrard had a good game. So did Lescott and Terry. Everyone else went missing. England is not the footballing power that everyone wants to believe they are, and shouldn't be in the top-10 in the world. Probably even lower than that. nod[1].gif

England best players are getting older..

Lampard is 34 (not playing i know), Parker is 31 and Gerrard is 32 and it is showing at the end..

Cole and Terry are also 31 plus..

They need new blood injected now and will be like France left with a generation of average players...

They have a problem in the midfield area in that respect.

And Rooney was barely match fit..

Germany was playing very well in 2006 and 2010 and 2008 but still Italy and Spain managed to win, so im not at all comfortable about the results based on tournament performances no matter how impressive germany has been.

As great as Balotelli is, he misses many chances and gets very angry/frustrated with himself and his team-mates.Past results could also be a strong motivator for Germany, as i'm sure they haven't forgotten the 2006 WC. What Italy has is Pirlo who will dictate the pace with his fantastic crosses/passes. Im not saying Germany will definitely win, but it will be a fantastic game and I hope Germany will come out on top.
