If I were Greek I'd be more concerned about how my country lied about its financial state and how the fuck its ever going to pay its debts. Fuck football. Pay the bills. There seems to be money to send the national team to the Cup. My stocks have been shit on because of Greece, so ya, kinda irked they are there.

By the way, Greece is going to get hammered, and rightly at the hands of the nation stable enough to bail their feta cheese asses out.

Glad "Jogi" (provided that the info is correct and that he won't change his mind at the very last moment ) has the balls to replace the rather underwhelming Podolski and Müller (two of three reasons why our attacking game - despite the three victories - was often lacking creativity in the group stage and why we couldn't push through our quick one-touch style of play as usual) by Andre Schürrle and my favourite player Marco Reus - voted Bundesliga's best player last season. Although he doesn't have any experience on the big international stage, I'm confident that he'll do a heck of a job. The fact that he gets the nod over Mario Götze probably speaks volumes. He's a beast. Replacing Gomez, who isn't a "playing striker" (the third reason), by Klose, who's extremely important for our combination play (especially for Özil), is another critical but correct decision (at least against this particular, concrete-mixing opponent). On the other hand, I feel extremely sorry for Gomez, who was undoubtedly a lifesaver against Portugal and the man of the match against the Netherlands...

Although I/we have great respect for the Greek team and although this is most likely going to be a tough sledding (especially if Hellas scores first...), I think we will continue our winning run if we are able to deploy all our skill tonight...

Ireland found a way to get there too. Portugal as well after receiving funds. At least Greece and Portugal made it worth the trip by getting through the group stage.

Excited to see that lineup change. Reus is a GREAT player. Klose too still beats the pants off Gomez.

Boca and Corinthians through to the LIbertadores final after knocking off Universidad (Chile) and Santos, respectively. Two absolutely monstrous clubs of South American football. Vamos los Xeneizes! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Its not the regular people's fault, nor the football players.

But yes the politicians and civil servants should be looking at prison time for what they have done.

I've said it at every major tournament where I've seen Samaras. Dude is completely worthless. Makes CR7 look like the hardest worker in the world on defense.

Germany looking oh-so-sharp. Can't believe how great Schurrle, Reus, and Klose look compared to Podolski, Muller, and Gomez.
