Huguain is on PSG's radar...

Yeah - this interview from AS was posted on Madrid's website. Sounds like a sendoff to me...

Me encanta escucharle.

Hazard to Chelsea..
official.

I hope so, but I am waiting for Chelsea to officially announce it. After what happened with Robinho a few years back, I don't trust it until it is official.

It's on L'equipe and it is the sports bible in France where he plays.

Juventus coach Antonio Conte is among a number of individuals being questioned by police in connection with a match-fixing probe in Italy.

Also rumors that Gonzalo on way out and I Am Zlatan on the way to Madrid where he can continue to be overrated and now too slow for their counter-attacking game.

Why does match fixing always seem to be in Italy? Is it that they are most focused on catching them? I find it hard to believe that many more people are on the take in Serie B as opposed to say the second tier in Spain.

Its a problem in a lot of places and a lot of sports. I personally would be very surprised if any professional sports division in Europe were clean from either drugs or corruption.

That kind of stuff is wince-inducing, which is why I wish he had kept his piehole closed a bit more. But people will forget about it soon enough if it goes well. For ex, the Ashley Cole thing several years back was also not pretty. It differed in key details from the Hazard deal of course, but my point is that despite the initial awkwardness Ca$hley was in a good acquisition in the end. Good for him, good for the Russian.

Mourinho is not stupid.
Kid is a hell of a player.

hope so

Jose has stated that he intends to keep Gonzalo but the Argentinian has made it clear he wants out. As for Ibra, well that might be out of Jose's hands, and I hope he does end up there -- complete destabilization of squad will ensue

Here is a nice sizzle reel on Eden Hazard. If you ignore the stylized production, it does show that he has some tricks. I wonder how well he will stand up to the physical EPL style though. He might be better suited for Spain. Oh well.

There is also a little CR style cheeky chip at the end. Hopefully Lille were up 5-0 by then. If he tries to get too cute (see eg Robinho style stepovers) without results, everyone will beat on him. CR actually got better once he did less of that.

Anyone care to weigh in on Hulk? I have seen him in a few CL games but haven't drawn a conclusion.

he's pretty fleet-footed for such a built fellow. good shot on him too. he's got Mizuno sponsorship, they make hands down the best boots but don't care much about marketing etc. The Japan-made Morelias are fantastic.

he also netted a few just this past weekend for Brazil.

Hope Hazard works out better than Torres - but, I guess, that is a particularly low bar.

and since there is nothing going on really but transfer rumors and hype, here is some tika taka beautiful game Barca Appreciation from a yr or 2 ago. This is how you want to your team to play. For added fun, the music is Wonderwall lol. It has 3m views-you would think that Noel would tell them to take it down.

I have the aching suspicion that Hazard will flop. Don't want it to happen necessarily, but feel it coming.

Hulk is a really good player. He's got quite a shot, and is deceptionally fast for his appearance. I'm surprised someone hasn't swooped in for him yet (ie last year or before). That massive 150mil buyout clause must be working. He's also strong enough where I think even England would be an alright move for him.

Fark, no -- not again, please! Every time there is a scandal in Italy before a major tournament they win the damn thing! :paranoia::cloud:
