What happened to the menswear division of the Gianfranco Ferré brand? Their most recent menswear runway show took place in mid-2010 for SS 2011. They did a showroom presentation in January 2011 for FW 2011/12 when Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi were still in charge. In June 2011 they installed Stefano Citron and Federico Piaggi. Haven't seen any menswear from them since...?
The GF Ferré diffusion line license still seems to be held by Ittierre SpA.

Gianfranco Ferré - main line
Ferré Milano - secondary line
GF Ferré - licensed diffusion line

The brand is in considerable turmoil. I believe they've suspended the line for now, but it's hard to get any news that isn't bad or about legal troubles.

I loved the Aquilano/Rimondi collections and had many pieces, but the last showroom was quite blegh, and of course we've seen nothing since then.

Perhaps it's a good time to go back and re-look at the glory days of the line; it was at its best for two seasons in 2006/2007 ("Homme Couture" seasons under Ferre himself) and then with the new designers in 08/09. Hit and miss other than those few seasons.
