I prefer the softer, chiseled look of AS48 to AS53. What colour would look good? A mid-brown? Oxblood?

Nice of Chay to step up with free trees. It has become standard with the Epaulet MTO's. I will have to bow out of this one, was really looking for something with that mottle/museum look.

Good luck with this one. I am looking forward to the next round.

Free trees... that's mighty nice especially since they are lasted.

Come on, let's go.

I'd like the AS48 last

I'd like a brownish (non-black) color, prefer cordovan (hell yea! :slayer:) but am OK with calf leather too :D

Mine are on the AS48. There are pics in the Appreciation thread from all angles. Here are some for now:

Nore,

why are you ruining your AS Handgrade with those ugly RLPL trees?:)

I'm very interested in the proposed Alfred Sargent/SF MTO being offered through A Fine Pair of Shoes. I'll go ahead and put in my two cents. I would be very interested in the cross-hatched leather that I've seen G&G do. Not sure, though, whether Alfred Sargent currently offers cross-hatched leather or whatever its called, or if AS even has access to it.

If not the cross-hatched leather, I would be up for a chestnut type color.

Also, I prefer the AS53 chiseled last, which, in my opinion, is really not all that aggressive compared to similar lasts by other companies.

I have something rather special for this mto whole cut - Chay Cooper from Alfred Sargent has offered AS Milton on either AS Handgrade last 53 or 48 to be made to AS Exclusive specification.
Calf will be £490 inc VAT (£408.33 ex VAT) and Shell will be £690 inc VAT (£575 ex VAT)
Museum calf is not currently available for this mto, unfortunately.
As a special thank you for SF members continued support of Alfred Sargent, Chay Cooper would also like to give a pair of lasted shoe trees for each SF member who places an order with this mto.
Here are the 53 last followed by 48 last:
AS53

AS48

AS Milton

Worth considering that when you decide what leather type and colour you would all like to go for, then each of you can choose either last AS53 or AS48.

Any questions, please ask.

Will these be available in wide widths such as G or H?

I'll go first.

AS Milton, made to Exclusive standard.
Cognac shell in color (kinda similar in color to that pair of Carmina that NAMOR posted)
AS 48 last.
