From my AS shoes, I would say the 48 is closes to the 99

Unfortunately I will pass on cognac shell Alex since I already have a fair amount of brown shell boots.

I would be very interested in Keats in a light tan (similar to the stock Chester) or if possible, a dark grey

I like the Keats, Henry, and Blake. I know they just did a MTO for Blake but Keats is a good option IMO.

Thanks! Those are very blue (and look great) I might be looking for a darker navy if possible.  But overall still like the idea.

Thanks for the last comparison information dsm, would you consider the "Hunt Black" an acceptable dark gray? Or are you thinking something lighter?  I could be moved to go for a dark grey as long as it was dark enough.....

I am thinking more of a burnished dark grey which is noticeably different/lighter than black. Maybe darker than my pair of Oundles below:

With the Miller on the final stretch, another pair is coming in! I have only worn my Whiskey DMs three times since I received them!

Is this a stupid idea for a new MTO. Double monk with a punched captoe? Was thinking saddle/cognac shell. I really need to add a double monk to my wardrobe and thought it would be a good option. Thoughts?? Opinions??
