With the recent interest in the collaboration between A Fine Pair of Shoes (AFPoS) and Alfred Sargent (AS), this thread may provide a convenient way to brainstorm and establish consensus for design combinations. I hope this will streamline the ordering process.

Please note I am not affiliated with either AFPoS or AS besides being an avid customer of both organizations. :slayer:

Thank you.

The AF Exclusive range of shoes hit the sweet spot between price and quality.

Anyone up for a wholecut in some sort of darkish shell cordovan?

the bal shell/suede boot is ridiculous.

Yeah, the only hesitation I have is that I have the C&J Somerville which is a brown bal boot. I am also not too much of a fan of suede.

So far AFPoS has two MTO set up (Exclusive range quality):

AS Miller Balmoral Boot using cognac shell cordovan with contrasting shaft using expresso suede (724 last)

AS Benson monkstrap using dark cognac shell cordovan (99 last)

I consider it nice.... But upper suede ...don't quite like the colour

I would be for not cordovan version in navy and biege.

Anybody likes that???

Probably C&J 341 would be the closest. Really elegant last that is well balanced and very elegant.

Was about to say this. The shape of the lasts are very similar when I compare my AS Tavistock and C&J Cottesmore. Classic rounded toe.

Is there some way to know that the 6 pair minimum has been reached for each of the MTO?

I'm interested in the cordo/suede bal boot. Is this a thread for people to offer new ideas as well? The current offerings are fantastic btw

How does the 724 last fit?

I will make sure I post total to date numbers so you can see how it is doing.

We can set up mto pages on our site quite easily showing the style and material and colour that you have come to a consensus on. I will keep an eye on this thread to see what is the most wanted mto and then will post the web page for it, then you can place your order in size and width (UK E & F).
