If you don't have any advice to offer, then don't post at all.

It is an utterly stupid post quite unsuitable for here, have you read the general nature of discussions or even considered the Forum name? If you needed to post it at all, which is questionable, then Street wear and Denim would have been appropriate. Maybe your claim that it could not be posted was a sign you ignored... Just simply go and look in the shops and expend some effort yourself in this dubious quest. Toronto is a large city and finding some down market stores to buy them from is hardly a great effort surely. That is some advice for you as you seem to be surprised at the reaction people here have to these garments.

These are hideous garments and certainly nothing to be proud of wanting. Given the stupidity of it and the garment, it ill becomes you to berate people for telling you so and your abuse of the ability of posting.

My friends and I call them shitpants.

Alternatively you could just buy some normal sweatpants and violently shit yourself to achieve the same effect

I put a note at the top of my post apologizing because I didn't mean to post it in this section. Geez. What a rude message board. I was worried that most fashion message boards would be full of pretentious people and it would seem that it's true. Thanks for nothing.

Hence the "shitpants" monicker.

I love it when men's clothing shit talks streetwear. It's so cute.

Some of the people here tend, to jump on things like this instantaneously. The thing is: Would you go around dressed like a clown, and call it a good look? No, I thought not. It's not, that people here think wearing clown clothes makes you a bad person. We just believe in aesthetic principles and taste. IE: Do your clothes fit you/do they make you look nice/are the materials good/etc./etc. These pants do not fit you at all, as this style inherently wouldn't. I have nothing against someone wearing sweatpants, if they fit them, and they can pull them off, without looking like they are a homeless person/leaving the gym, which, in my opinion, is never.

It's so cute, when SW&D guys throw aesthetic principles out the window, for the most non-mainstream thing they can find. At some point, one grows up.

Ahhh I remember you. You used to post in streetwear like a year or two ago.

Anyways, your statement assumes that there is only one set of aesthetic principles. This is not the case. Although men's clothing may prefer a style that is more traditional, it does not make it inherently better. Furthermore, there is no causation between something being mainstream and aesthetically pleasing. American Eagle, Abercrombie, Hugo Boss, and so on. That shit is mainstream and it's terrible. Finally, the notion that one hasn't grown up until they've abandoned streetwear is also ridiculous.

In conclusion, you managed three logical fallacies in two sentences. Job well done.

Nothing against streetwear in general but unless you're an actual berber I'm 250% sure that you have definitely not grown up if you wear shitpants. Anyway, growing up is not a necessity, it's a choice. I myself have only recently decided to grow up although I must say I've always found them drop-crotches quite awful.

hey greyhound

why dont you buy two pair of sweat pants and ask a tailor to
make them into the drop crotch that you want,

yea streetwear would be the forum for this.

but the same newb greeting would apply.
its just a part of the way you get accepted here.
now you can haze the next newbe.

Amazing and tragic.

But I am so going to hell. This is the first thing I thought of.
