Ethnic contributions to classic men's style

I am not sure about handlebar moustache and the colour pink but would not be surprised. Is there any other Asian country with a greater origonal contribution to mainstream men's style?

Funnily enough, from just the thread title, I was going to come in here and mention India. Although I suppose (what used to be referred to as) Persia might be accurate too, as it strikes me that a lot of these influences stem from the fusion of Moghul traditions with its later Persian overlay. And then mixed with British tailoring to end up with the above.

kashmir was the trade capital of cashmere but the wools are imported across the region from mongolia to tibet.

1) Cashmere originated in the West Himalayas - this is in india.

2) The word Cashmere derives from 'Kashmir' - again for all intents & purposes this is in india. 

3) mughals regardless of their ethnic origin, ruled india

Before patronising, get your facts straight.
