I think I'd have to freeze my credit cards in a block of ice if I lived close to Denim Bar.

Too bad they didn't have your size. I think they're a bit on the slim side, but not too bad. I kind of wish the hem was more like 8.25-8.5 but I still really like mine.

The hem on my size 30's are 8", but the hem on measures larger on larger sizes.

You wouldn't happen to know if they have either a 29 or 30?

We've got these in every size right now.. here's a couple of photos of the Rocker which is super slim, we've also got the 1980 which is more of a straight/slim cut. http://www.selfedge.com/2007/03/kick...es-to-self.php

I do think they had a 30. Give the Bethesda store a call.

In just ordered a pair of 1980s from revolve. However, I ordered my true size (31), as they didn't have a smaller size, and also I don't know how much shrinkage to account for.

Has anyone soaked these or had any experience washing them? How much shrinkage have you noticed?

Yeah, mine are 30's as well, with an 8" hem. Not sure they're really going to work with my Frye Brandos. Do you wear boots much?

No, I seldom wear boots, and when I do, they are generally with a much narrower shaft than Brandos.

Exactly...you can see the shaft pucker out too much through the jeans, as they're engineers. (OK, I know that didn't sound good)

Are the pockets on the 1980's and Rockers the identical? Looks like the rocker has lower pockets.

Was wondering the same thing, also how much indigo loss would happen?

Not much is the answer to both questions. In fact the shrinking will probably not be noticable.

Washed my 1980s with woolite for dark clothes to remove a slight funk, then soak for a few hours. Looks like very very minimal indigo loss if any, also snapped the waist right back to original size.
