The number of people in the universe with good taste is a static figure. There are no more today than 10, 20 or even 100 years ago.

good taste has imo,

1.) become redefined

2.) become less important overall to most people

unfortunately "good taste" rarely exists anymore. At least in my neck of the woods......

I wonder if the number of people who understand that taste is subjective has increased or decreased over the same time span.
