I put some insoles in and they seem better. Going to give breaking in a try

Dave SFU, I see you've owned some other engineer boots, how do the MOTO's compare?

I'm looking for the black 6" lace up in cordovan. Does anyone know a good proxy for these? If I'm a 9 on the Barrie what corresponding size would I be in this boot?

Beautiful boots. There are two shops on Rakuten that sell that boot, but one is sold out completely and the other appears to be sold out in your size. (i.e. they only have a size 3).

I can call Moto today and see if they have any in stock, if you'd like. My guess is that you would be somewhere between a 1 and 2. I can ask them how the sizing runs as well.

Eh, not that it helps, but I am a 10.5 on the Barrie and the size 4 MOTO is just a bit snug in me.

^^ I'm pretty sure you are a size 3, no? I don't think they do your boots (ie camel) in size 4!

Whoops, disregard. They are indeed a size 3.  I forgot.  They have only a couple styles in size 4.  My mistake.

^^ Actually, 9.5 Barrie should be a 2! But I think that will depend on the shoe or boot in question.

Well there are lots of 3's available. Be aware that their sizing seems to run a bit larger for the goodyear welted shoes. If you're a 9.5 Barrie, I'd say 2 for any of their goodyear welted stuff. Perhaps 3 for the others, but I don't know.

Eh, a size 3 may work for you.  It might be a little loose, but boots are more more tolerant in terms of sizing.  If you plan to wear boot socks, then I think it will be fine.  A size 2 may be snug but not uncomfortable.
