Sheesh, so jealous of you guys who can just walk into the shop. Very nice camel boots!

I assure you I did not just walk into the shop.  I've been planning this since last May.

And even though the shop is just a short jaunt for me, so are the shoes!

Headed to the MOTOR shop tomorrow to pick up some Natural CXL Engineer boots. Might swing over to Moto too and grab a wallet and pair of chukkas

That's awesome! Excellent choices.

For wallets, I would definitely check out the CXL wallets at MOTOR. They have some beautiful silver work on them. Ask the owner or sales guy if you can see the aged one. Its stunning. But, that's not to say that Moto's wallets are inferior. My wife has one and it is well worth the price!

Yes, if only had any money left after buying the camel skin boots, I would have bought a wallet!

Just some quick hotel shots of my 'travel collection' — including my MOTO long chukkas in black CXL. Which are wonderful, by the way!

Clockwise, from eleven o'clock: Alden for Epaulet Officer Indy, brown CXL; J. Gilbert #8 wingtip boot, Plaza last; Alden SF ravello PTB; MOTO Long Chukka, black CXL.

Very comfy. In fact, I'm thinking the natural CXL long chukkas may be my next purchase.

That is a beautiful selection of shoes, kram! I am impressed that you get such a nice shine on the CXL. Did you polish the Indys with a little dark brown to darken the toe stitching?

I was looking at those but they didnt have my size (0). The brown CXL is nice too. Wish I had picked them up

When are we going to get some pics of the engineers?? Please?

Thanks! I've never used polish on the CXL, just Venetian Shoe Cream and buffing with a horsehair brush and a soft cloth. The stitching on the Indy boots was already dark — the Epaulet Officer Indys came that way. It's a great make up; they should do it again. I also have a pair of Epaulet Black & Tan Indy boots, which is also a great make up with non-contrast stitching.
