If so, what do you snack on, and how often do you snack?

Snacking defined as deliberately eating food between the hours of breakfast, lunch or dinner.

How does one eat food in a manner that is not deliberate? The four or whatever spiders per year that the average person ingests while sleeping?

I snack all the time and I have almost no standards when doing so.

If you are at the office and it happens to be a coworker's birthday, you find yourself obliged to eat a slice of cake.

I think he means the difference between "I'm going to go out and buy a cookie" or "I'm going to bring these chips to work to snack on" and something like you are walking through a store and someone is offering samples of scones...you didn't deliberately set out to get a snack but you still ended up eating something.

Yes, I do snack but not everyday. And it's only if I feel a certain meal hasn't made me completely full (I.E. I'll snack on some potato chips immediately after eating a pizza).

What more to say? I eat five-six meals a day, ~ 6a, 9a, Noon, 3p, 6p, 9p... contents vary depending on my current workout regimen and diet. Protein in every meal... a pretty typical approach for those focused on fitness.

This. Almost to the hour, actually. But the 9p meal doesn't always happen.

Same here... just depends on the goals. When I was younger and focused on bulking there was nothing like eating 6-8 times a day with 500 calories per meal. Just thinking about that now makes me fat biggrin.gif
