Here's mine. A terrible picture, but only one I have at the moment.

That's lovely. Looks like it's the saddleback classic thin briefcase?

It's the Thin Briefcase in medium size. Color is chestnut. I beat that thing to death, which is something I can't do to my fragile LV bags.

I'm still searching for what appears to be unattainable: a messenger bag with a non-buckle flap closure and a handle, preferably in canvas (or at least not all leather).

I tried the KVA x Eastpak messenger, but the snaps come open if you have anything remotely heavy in it and you try to carry it by the handle. plain.gif

That's why most of them have buckles. They don't open unless you open them. It's self defeating to make one any other way.

Not sure if this is at all along the lines of what you're looking, but check out Bagjack.

I have a Filson 257, which still gets the majority of use. Also have a leather case, but wanted something a bit more casual / fun. Wound up picking up an Acronym, which is made by Bagjack. Otherwise, I likely would have ordered that Next Level Messenger. I think the pricier Bagjack models use fidlock magnetic closures.

I just bought a saddelback large chestnut briefcase. $500 brand new on ebay. Looking forward to this (hopefully) being my last briefcase purchase.

What's going on with the color of both the leather & stitching here? I really like it - Is this at all representative of how chestnut ages?
