I've been messing around on Pinterest for a while now. My daughter is a social marketing expert and she suggested I try it. It is easy, sort of fun and actually a good way to save and arrange a lot of visual material for later reference. For example, you want to redecorate your home, you go to to ton of websites, if you see anything you like you pin it and save it under an album you create like "Home Decor". A lot of people who are into trends and cool hunting would find it useful. I'm not quite sure how effective it will be for branding and marketing but I have been playing around with that.

Yes, a lot of chicks are on the site but I have guys from all over the world repinning my albums.

Well put. It's a really intuitive way to display visuals. I mean, it's not like that would be FUCKING GREAT for turning people ON TO CLOTHING, or something. To reiterate, I think it'd be great to have a whole mess of members from SF following each other.
