How much do you hand the bouncer to bypass line to get in a club?

I hate waiting in lines. I don't go to clubs often, but a friend invited me to one and I just want to bypass the line. What do you think? 3x the cover? 4x? It's not a very exclusive club (don't think exclusive NYC club here), but I know there will be a line as it's a special occasion.

Bring chicks. A 7 is usually enough to get by most bouncers.

Never done this. Too busy either a) being on the list b) having a pass c) drinking in line to GAF about waiting in line. c) is actually my favourite since it's the last time I can actually talk to my friends beforUHN TISS UHN TISS UHN TISS

This... this is the only way to get past a line, unless you are a celebrity, know the owner, or better yet, know the bouncer. Or, of course, if you are on the list. I had a girlfriend who was awesome at getting in. I think that she knew every bouncer in LA (during the time that I was there.) It helped that she was rich, smoking hot, and was a native Angeleno (those girls seem to be able to talk themselves into every place.) I definitely could not have done it myself. Not even close.

All good ways. I'm way, way to old and never really liked clubs, but the occasional foray was/is always to places where these two are the case. From my younger days, another good way is to be on staff or in the industry and work at a closely aligned place.

Good points. I'm already getting in for free, knowing the presenters. Just not sure if they have a list that lets us bypass the line... I'm also meeting a girl there. Maybe this'll be easier than I think.

If you're getting in for free why did you think you'd have to pay multiples of the cover charge, gui?

BTW, what's a "presenter" at a club? Fluffer in the VIP lounge?

Snakes that run the door at ****** clubs. They do events and act as promoters. Most of the time they suck, I don't make friends with these dudes.
