This... this is the only way to get past a line, unless you are a celebrity, know the owner, or better yet, know the bouncer. Or, of course, if you are on the list. I had a girlfriend who was awesome at getting in. I think that she knew every bouncer in LA (during the time that I was there.) It helped that she was rich, smoking hot, and was a native Angeleno (those girls seem to be able to talk themselves into every place.) I definitely could not have done it myself. Not even close.

All good ways. I'm way, way to old and never really liked clubs, but the occasional foray was/is always to places where these two are the case. From my younger days, another good way is to be on staff or in the industry and work at a closely aligned place.

Snakes that run the door at shitty clubs. They do events and act as promoters. Most of the time they suck, I don't make friends with these dudes.

I generally do a 50. It's rarely worth it.

If you have to pay to get into a club and then pay more for some watered down drinks, then you are doing it wrong.
