Does anyone use the traditional English double hairbrush? They used to come in a set of two and you would brush your hair with a brush in each hand.

I don't use these, but it sounds like a good idea.

Let me piggyback this and ask if anyone would have boar bristle brush(for hair, not shaving) they could recommend.

I bought a set of these: http://www.kentbrushes.com/acatalog/Finest_Mens.html They were apparently used in the British military.

If I recall correctly the oval was standard issue to British troops in WWI. I have this and really like it. When I first purchased it I had fairly long hair and couldn't use it. Then I buzzed my hair and didn't really need it. Now that it's short but not buzzed, the brush is perfect.

I initially bought a Kent boar bristle brush (OG2) below and found it a bit much for my short fine hair. I subsequently bought the nylon quill oval brush (MC24) and find that it better suits my needs. All Kent brushed are top notch.
