You gotta remember though, a good share of the bottom feeders on Ebay and CL are deal-chasers and item flippers. They solely buy in order to re-sell for profit, that's why they'll try every trick in the book to get reimbursements etc...to maximize profit.

But of course, you also have some legit buyers with insane expectations, no mater how cheap the item is.

I don't know why people offer refunds on ebay. I get if it's your business or significant part of your business but regular joes trying to get rid of their closet crap should offer no refunds no returns and a big buyer beware you are buying USED items with typical wear.

The few things I have sold on Ebay always come with a no returns, no refunds and make sure you know your size and know what your expectations should be for a used whatever.

I actually list items with as no rerurns. I figured this guy was tryign to shake me down with the implied threat of negative feedback, so I offered him a refund to get rid of him. Besides, I knew I could probably re-sell the shoes for more than he paid. The problem came when he decided to wear the shoes for two months and THEN take me up on the return offer.

No returns or refunds is meaningless on ebay. Buyers just open up not as described complaints, and we all know that ebay sides with buyers 100% of the time.

Since you decided to publicly air this:

The right shoe also has a sticky residue all over it. It smells like pureed sweet potatoes.
If you really are the buyer, you are an idiot. My guess is that you have never owned leather shoes, because even brand new leather shoes show creases after their first wear. The fact that you have the audacity to wear the shoes, then try and get a refund over a month later tells us everything we need to know abut you. Are you really creating a fuss over $30 shoes?

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that was a jokester using a sock puppet. Probably stitch.

I figured that might be the case, but I remember posting on here about some piss stained pants someone on ebay was selling, the seller found the thread and started commenting!
